GRADSA Medical Outreach

Purpose & Goals

GRADSA’s Medical Outreach Committee is dedicated to providing Doctors with best practice guidelines when delivering the Down Syndrome diagnosis. We ultimately want to improve the diagnosis experience for families by improving the communication about Down Syndrome. We have provided nationally recommended resources to be given to the parents and are ready to support them. The Medical Outreach Committee is trained, certified and available for their Down Syndrome journey.


  • Certified and Trained Medical Outreach Representatives
  • Build relationships of trust and respect between providers and the Down Syndrome community
  • Provide presentations and up-to-date information on Down Syndrome to medical staff
  • Provide books, brochures and information packets for new diagnosis
  • Act as an organization
  • Report quarterly log to Lettercase
  • Deliver Welcome Baskets to new families
